Blank Canvas Phobia
A free journey to get you unstuck
You know the feeling, when you’re staring at a blank canvas, paintbrush in hand… Everything feels possible, and somehow that makes it even harder to start.
You start worrying about whether or not the painting will work, whether it will live up to your expectations or what you think other people will think about it.
Your are not alone!
To help you overcome that feeling, I've created a completely free, online, guided painting experience called Blank Canvas Phobia where I’ll take you on the full journey that I took in creating this fun, free-flowing abstract painting.
While I paint, I’ll be guiding you in the process of creating your own unique expressive painting (or drawing if you prefer to use this as inspiration for a different medium) that's full of layers and depth.
Unlike painting more true to life subjects (which I also love to do!), this abstract painting process that I’ll show you doesn’t need any planning or over-thinking. It’s more of a fun active meditation that gets you in “the zone” and out of your head. It’s delicious food for the soul!
This is for you if:
You love the idea of painting but aren’t sure where or how to start
You worry that your painting might not look the way you think it should, so you don’t dare to try
You feel a bit "out of practice" and would like a hand getting back into your flow
You usually paint realistically but would like to loosen up your style a bit and play with abstraction
You'd like a playful, fun way to let go, feel calm, focused, and fully present in the moment
By the end, you won’t just have a painting, you’ll have felt that satisfying state where time bends, thoughts quiet down, and you’re fully in the creative zone you've been craving.
